Wow I just had another x-files moment.
The first was the Halburton incident (and yes they boxed us in on the highway like Skully and Moulder on the xfiles) it was creepy.
But now onto Windmills…
Windmills are beautiful. Some countries used them for their primary source of energy. If you ask my mom she will say that windmills (and solar devices) are out future and the solution to our energy “crisis”. Well today we saw windmills for as far as the eye can see. There is a place just west of Amarillo that has a plot of at least 83 windmills. We exited the highway and traveled down this long dirt road to find WARNING signs – in Texas if you trespass on someone’s property they can shoot at you. This happened once to me outside Austin when I was a kid. So, needless to say, we stayed behind the fence and admired from afar. I hope the videos come out where you can see the enormity of these pinwheels of the Texas plains.
