Welcome To California.

Wow, just when you think you have seen it all. Our trip from Las Vegas to Morro Bay, Ca was just as jaw dropping beautiful. As Scott described it -- we feel like we have traveled through 10 countries, not states! We have at least 2400 miles under our belt, 10 states and 5 days.

The landscape went from grassy desert, to dirt desert, to dirt desert with catus, to mountain of brown dust, to rolling mountains of yellow grass, to a beautaful landscaped area that looked like it was on a Lionel train scene, to curvy, curvy desolate mountains with steep cliffs that made me so dizzy to drive around.... to the pacific ocean. And that was just today!

Here are some of my favorite photos:

Photos of yet another kind of desert:

There are more windmills.... I could not even count all of these. There look religious, seriously.

Here is me and the pups at the pacific ocean before sunset. They look so well behaved but Oscar had just bit Oliver on the eat because some lady on the beach paid Oliver too much attention. The picture looks good though.

Here is a photo Scott took of my footsteps with Oscar and Olivers to the side. How amazing.

Here are some of my photos of the sunset. They came out well.

And a token photo of the dogs asleep in the car.

Here is a photo we took at the request of Kristi. I think it's pretty beautiful.

My apartment is in Sunnyvale, Ca and we should arrive there sometime late tomorrow -- but before that we had to stop and spend the night on the coast in Morro Bay (see first photo in post above). This is a quiet coastal town with a big rock of lava that erupted out of the Ocean many years ago. It has been a wonderful and long adventure.

Oh you made me cry. Ling Ling would be honored. I pictured her on that beach. How appropriate is the sunset. This photo will go in her scrapbook.
